child: Hi, grand father. Do you know Lincoln?

grandfather: Yes. He is very famous man.

child: What does he look like?

grandfather: Uh… Let teach you about him.

Also he didn`t think equality a white man and black people. He was acquiring from everyone then.

He  didn`t use this word「Citizen」. He was guessing for the southern part people. He wanted to tell for all people. Also He uses 「Nation」 this word is same meaning too.
